Stock up on local produce at the nearby farm shop, cook up a feast and then gather the family for a quiet evening in front of that cosy log burner…the perfect way to end a busy day. That said, the site’s communal campfire means you can wrap up and make new friends around of an evening too.

The landscape that surrounds Bude could have been made for dog walking, so it’s great news that Cranny Cottage welcomes one dog along too. The adventure playground’s another favourite with younger members of the family, and the indoor games room has everything they need to keep themselves busy in between adventures. And, for the mums and dads, how about a massage in the onsite treatment room? Bliss.
