Pros: A beautifully kept bungalow with all mod cons - fridge; freezer; washing machine; dishwasher; microwave; oven; induction hob; multi-channel tv; wifi. There are 2 bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with a very comfortabe king size bed. The bathroom is fully tiled with a walk-in shower. The owners are very friendly and approachable, but also respected our privacy. The property is situated near the A1, close to a large Sainsbury's superstore, but road noise was not a problem when in the bungalow and garden. It is situated a few miles from the Shuttleworth Collection and was very handy when attending the air show there.Cons: Although we had been given detailed instructions on the location, we arrived in the dark and found the property very difficult to find. It is situated in the owners' back garden which meant that we had to park in front of their house and carry all our luggage through the side gate and through the garden. Although this was not a problem for us, it might be difficult for anyone with mobility issues to tackle (although we feel sure that the owners would be more than happy to help if asked).All in all, we had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Brooklands Farm Cottage and would be more than happy to stay there again if we are ever in the area.

Everything about the accomodation was perfect for us . The location was ideal , very close to the A1 and our relatives house . There is a retail park nearby if you need to buy anything . The bungalow is set in a lovely garden so very tranquil . The bungalow was really well kitted out, the TV was easy to operate , the wi-fi was excellent , comfy beds, great shower and everything you would need to self cater in the kitchen We had a perfect stay . Thank you
