lovely cottage, clean but basic, lacking a few kitchen utensils and some instructions for the oven would have been nice. Set in a lovely location albeit in the owners back garden so not a lot of privacy and the lake is a dried up pond. No logs for the fire.

The cottage is located within 20 minutes of Cambridge park and ride making it convenient for Cambridge. It is in a quiet location, you will need a car. The wifi is good. The host is on site and polite. There is an unsocialised family dog on site which some may find intimidating. The property is in much need of attention, decoration, maintenance and a professional clean from top to bottom. The advertising photographs are at least 5 years old and do not reflect the current condition of the property.I was disappointed with my stay, I raised issues with the host who attended to some of the major issues, but there is still much that needs to be done.I was disappointed and would only return if I knew the cottage had been brought up to a good standard.
