Converted from an old farmhouse, the lodge still offers some charming, traditional features. From wooden flooring and walls to a country-style kitchen, the property feels cosy and authentic. Ideal for a family, there are two double rooms, a transitional bedroom, and additional sleeping quarters with a sofa bed in the lounge. With spectacular views from the private patio, the garden is a dream during the day and the night when sitting in one of the well-placed seating in the garden area.
Inside the old farmhouse, the ground floor features a traditional living room which is cosy and has original features. The beautiful sofa doubles up as a sofa bed, and a television will entertain the kids. Meanwhile, the kitchen is fitted in a homely style with traditional features, and there is a dining area where you can enjoy breakfast and dinner as a family with all the features you need to cook up a storm. Also, on the ground floor, there is a country-style bathroom. There is also a delightful fireplace perfect for nights away at this lodge in the colder months.
Meanwhile, on the first floor, the old farmhouse has two beautiful bedrooms, which are both double in size. With traditional features such as wooden doors, these are classic but wonderful for your stay. There is also a transitional bedroom which is great for families travelling with multiple children. There is plenty of bedrooms to comfortably fit eight.
Externally, the property is set on a hillside and has an outdoor eating area with a barbecue, making for the perfect night during your holiday. You can enjoy eating al fresco while taking in the astonishing views. There is also further outdoor seating on the greenery to relax during the day. With ample space outdoors, the kids have plenty of areas to play. There is also a private parking space.
The villa is situated in Sromlje, which offers plenty of outside activities to do in the nearby area. Whether you want to go cycling with the family, head out hiking or even just go for a long, beautiful walk, the choice is endless. The lodge is close to the nearby towns of Brežice and Krško, which have plenty of amenities with shops and restaurants.

The Posavje Museum Brežice is a must-see as they are full of culture, and there is even a beautiful river where you can do some fishing. For younger guests, the town has two water parks which are bound to keep them entertained. The other town just 10km away is Krško which offers plenty to see and do, including a castle and a beautiful river. You will also find restaurants here if you fancy eating here during the trip. With the opportunity to learn more about the history of the Posavje region, these towns are worth a visit. You can also find a wealth of shops here where you can buy all the necessities you need for your trip.
If you want to go further afield, just 49km from the lodge, you will find the Archaeological Museum Zagreb, which is a popular tourist destination. With over 450,000 artefacts, your family will have a new wealth of knowledge when you leave. For something a bit different, there is also the Technical Museum in the same area, which offers a fantastic day out. With so much to see, you will learn about the history of traffic vehicles, agriculture and astronautics.
