Siena offers a deeper dive into Tuscan history, with its shell-shaped Piazza del Campo and Gothic architecture, while Florence opens the door to world-renowned art, architecture and dining. Evenings spent enjoying an aperitivo in one of these historic piazzas make for memorable excursions. 

Closer to home, the Chiantigiana road winds through vineyards and woodland, linking villages such as Radda and Castellina in Chianti, each offering panoramic viewpoints, local restaurants and small wine shops. Golf enthusiasts can also venture towards Florence or Mugello for established courses set in scenic surroundings.
