The village of Kilcar sits at one of the most westerly points of County Donegal. It is a peaceful village that comes to life in the evening with traditional music being a regular feature in many of the local taverns, and "Ceol na gConallach - The Donegal Sessions" running every Saturday night through the summer months in the local theatre.
