The town of Dungloe is just one mile away, is situated in the Rosses region, providing an array of shops, excellent choice of pubs, restaurants and not forgetting its traditional music. A superb break for those that enjoy walking, cycling and fishing. The more experienced and adventurous hiker can challenge Donegal’s highest peak, Mount Errigal. Further afield, is the island of Aranmore which can be reached by boat from Burtonport, or why not visit the Glenveagh National Park? You will be sure to have a wonderful holiday from the comfort of this lovely house, whatever time of the year.
Up until 1762, entry into the town of Dungloe in Donegal was only possible via the stepping stones dotted over the river. Nowadays, visitors from all over the world can take the much easier route over Donegal Bridge and enjoy this delightful town in County Donegal.
