The village of Glencolmcille is a short distance away (3.5 mile) and attracts many visitors to its hinterland during the summer months whilst the Silver Strand beach at Malin Beg is 8 miles away. Sliabh Liag cliffs have masses of history with lots of archaeology sites and boat trips available. Marvel at the local sea cliffs at Slieve League The quaint neighbouring villages of Carrick and Kilcar are close by. Visit nearby Ardara, with its homecraft knitting industry and the deep sea fishing port of Killybegs along the coast. Take a day trip to Donegal town, a bustling oasis for tourists and enjoy its many shops, cafes and restaurants.
