Be welcomed into the open-plan living space, where you can look forward to rustling up tasty delicacies in a well-equipped kitchen, as your other half pops open a bottle of fizz and sets the table. Settle down to relish a feast ahead of snuggling up on the plush sofa with your loved one and enjoy some light entertainment in the glow of the woodburning stove. If you wish to make the most of warmer evenings, step outside into the shared courtyard, or the rear garden for a more private affair, to relish a late-night drink or alfresco dining with use of the barbecue as the sun sets over the cascading landscape. In the southern part of County Tipperary, near the Knockmealdown Mountains, on the River Suir, lies a little settlement called Ardfinnan. The village has a lovely open green, a few nice pubs, a store, and Ardfinnan Castle, an outstanding Norman building that dominates the settlement's centre with majesty. The bustling town of Clonmel is eight miles distant and is located close to the Tipperary and Waterford border. The town boasts a variety of stores, pubs, and restaurants to enjoy, but Magners Cider is arguably what makes it most well-known. History-rich Clonmell is the only town in Ireland that was able to repel Oliver Cromwell's New Model Army during his siege of Ireland in the 17th century. The residents were evacuated to safety utilising General O'Neill's strategies. With the majestic Comeragh Mountains serving as a striking backdrop, the neighbouring Nire Valley provides several chances for cycling and strolling. The M8 highway is not far from Ardfinnan, making it simple to travel to County Cork and Dublin. This makes Ardfinnan the ideal starting point for year-round Irish exploration.

The hosts are very caring and the location is good for touring and visiting other beautiful places. Many thanks for the support we received following our car's mechanical breakdown. We were fortunate enough to be able to extend our stay for an extra week without any further upheavals!

The only things that was holding back from being a perfect stay. 1. Pillows were flat and hard 2. Bedding was poor quality, bottom sheet was full of nubs and hair. It was very scratchy and kind of gross picking hair off. 3. The sofa really needs to be changed out, itâs seen its day and is very uncomfortable and needs a good cleaning. 4. The property could use some fine tuning in the cleaning , overall decent, however, lots of cobwebs, night table wasnât too clean , dressing table needed a good dusting. Overall we enjoyed our stay .. the biggest drawback being the poor quality bedding. Not at all as photographed. And the sofa is very tired and not at all in the condition like the picture. Very easy complaints from me to fix. Shower was great, bed comfortable, lots of towels, soaps etc. Very friendly owners and a very sweet horse.
