At bedtime, you’ll find one of the two double bedrooms on the ground floor, with the other on the first floor, along with a twin and a single. In peaceful surroundings close to the Portmagee Channel, the property is 2 miles from Portmagee, where there are a handful of shops and places to eat. Drive over the bridge to explore Valentia Island, with its beautiful scenery and varied bird life, or take a boat to the Skellig rocks and see the monastic archaeology. The nearest sandy beach is 2.5 miles away. If you want to get active, you can walk, cycle, fish, scuba dive and even hang glide in the nearby area. In Waterville, 10 miles away, you’ll find an excellent golf course as well as an array of pubs, cafes and restaurants.
