On the one hand, I had the best nights' sleep, hot showers and baths here that I have had for ages; and the owner was helpful and friendly and the location excellent. On the other hand, this was the dirtiest cottage I have ever stayed in; many things did not work or were in a very bad state of repair, and the cottage was very badly equipped. We had to purchase a number of items that we would have expected accommodation to provide, including a cafetiere, as, incredibly, there was no coffee machine or cafetiere or any way of making proper coffee (and we found a revolting mat of hardened instant coffee in the coffee cannister). We also had to buy a wooden spoon as there was none; a set of kitchen scales and a casserole dish, as we discovered that the one in the cottage had a hole burnt in its bottom that rendered it dangerous to use.

The cottage is comfortable and well serviced. It is close to the village of Campile, which has a couple of good shops for supplies and a couple of decent takeaways. Its in an ideal location to explore the towns & villages of Wexford. The biggest bonus for us, is that Home Farm is dog friendly, and our dogs had an absolute ball. We would highly recommend this property

The cottage was spacious, spotless, and with all the needed amenities for a stress-free stay. It was amazing to be able to take our dog with us, and to spend the evenings relaxing in front of the open fire. The cottage is ideally located, with numerous beaches and lovely walks around. I would definitely recommend.
