This Beaufort cottage has three double bedrooms, one of which boasts a handcrafted four-poster bed. The country-style fitted kitchen comes well equipped for all your needs and also has a dining area with an open fire to appreciate whilst enjoying a lovely meal together. The cosy sitting room has a homely feel and has plenty of reading material so you can kick back and relax in front of the open fire. The dining area of this Beaufort cottage opens onto a superb decked area through sliding doors, so whatever the time of day you can enjoy a refreshing drink and alfresco dining in the well maintained garden. The intimate village of Beaufort lies in lush, rich countryside and has two fine pubs, each serving delicious food. The village is set just fifteen minutes' drive from Killarney and has numerous attractions within easy reach, such as rolling countryside, sandy beaches, a National Park, Ireland's highest mountain and a choice of lively pubs and restaurants. There are also two excellent courses for golf enthusiasts. Why not visit the Puck Fair in the town of Killorglin, an annual festival with street markets, live traditional music and much, much more? The area is a paradise for walkers, hikers and cyclists, with endless routes and tracks; an excellent way to see the region. Whatever your interests, and whatever your taste, there is something for everyone at this Beaufort cottage.

Beaufort is a small village situated in a scenic area at the foot of the Macgillycuddy Reeks near the Gap of Dunloe. This is a great location for walking with stunning mountain views. The village has shops, pubs and restaurants, and is situated between Killorglin and Killarney, the latter being a mecca for holidaymakers every year with its wide open countryside, beaches close at hand, annual festivals and great night life, with traditional music played in many of the pubs and bars. A host of activities are available in the area including riding, walking, cycling, golf and fishing.
