Both rooms are a breath of fresh air, and with the addition of a family bathroom, the accommodation is complete in the highest fashion. Wander outside to the enclosed garden should you wish to spend an hour or two under the sun, or adventure into Killorglin, the gateway to the Ring of Kerry with a variety of cafes, restaurants and pubs just waiting to be explored. The town is also home to the annual Puck Fair, one of Ireland's oldest street festivals, held every August. Close to a great choice of lovely sandy beaches and a golfer's paradise, this is a fabulous cottage in a diverse location, not to be missed.
The town of Killorglin is situated in the heart of County Kerry, near the River Laune. The town is the gateway to the Ring of Kerry and offers cafes, restaurants and pubs, along with fishing on both the River Laune and at nearby Caragh Lake. The town is also home to the annual "Puck Fair", one of Ireland's oldest street festivals, held every August.

There are 2 further rooms locked upstairs for some reason. Unlocked rooms are all at the front of the house , the house is situated off a busy road so if you're a light sleeper traffic will wake you. The grill is not working in the kitchen and the television is far too small for the big sitting room. The screen kept cutting the heads of the characters as we were watching TV. Plus the open fire is not allowed be lit which is a shame as the big sitting room needs a fire to warm it up. Also there are no instructions as to how to use anything in the house (heating, cooker, immersion) you have to figure it out for yourself.

Easy walk to town, and good base for sight seeing in Kerry. House lovely and spacey and clean. Hosts also very attentive and easy to reach and allowed us to check out late. Would definitely recommend.
