Contact to the owner was very easy, friendly and helpful with hints to supermarkets and restaurants. We were really enthusiastic when we stepped into the house as it is big, airy and bright.

It was perfect for us as a couple, and I can imagine it's wonderful for a family. It is well suited for Killarney as well as exploring the national park and Co Kerry more widely. We were delighted to find ourselves literally in the Gap of Dunloe! Ellen was an excellent host, she was very responsive and had fantastic recommendations for the area.

The beds were all very comfortable. The information provided by the owner prior to our stay was all very helpful. It is in a great location for exploring the area in all directions, so plenty of things to do. The young deer in the garden were very inquisitive and came really close. Very close to two cafes and Kate Kearney's bar and restaurant. As with all rural locations having a car is very useful.
