Snaptrip says

Guests have found the cottage to be a clean, comfortable, and homely property with stunning views and a peaceful location on a golf course near Kenmare. While some minor issues were noted, the overall experience was positive, with special mentions of the helpful caretaker and occasional thoughtful gestures from the owner.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property consistently receives praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its well-maintained and immaculate condition. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

The location is frequently described as scenic and peaceful, situated on a golf course with beautiful views. It is a short drive to Kenmare and well-positioned for exploring local attractions, although some guests noted difficulty in finding the property initially.

Many reviews mention the property's comfort, noting the cosy atmosphere, comfy beds, and spaciousness. However, a few guests mentioned issues with bed sizes and water pressure, slightly affecting the overall comfort score.

The cottage is generally well-equipped, but several reviews cite issues with specific facilities such as showers, heaters, and appliances. While these are minor and resolvable, they do impact the overall experience of the facilities.

While some guests mentioned receiving wine and cookies, these gestures seem to be occasional rather than guaranteed. As such, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness based on the consistency of such gestures.

It is beautifully decorated cottage with good sized rooms and good facilities. The collection of cottages feels safe and it was so quiet with burds and wildlife all around. On the initial drive to the cottage, there were no signs for the cottages until we were practically there. You have to drive on a very bumpy track to the right of the golf club. We headed up the hill on the road and had to turn back. Cottage facilities were good. Once we had turned the boiler on, we had good warm showers. The location was great for us as we were in a beautiful spot, but we didn't feel too remote as we had some neighbours, although we barely saw anyone. We were a bit disappointed that the bar and restaurant closed for most of our visit. There appeared to be an event on one evening, but otherwise it was closed. No sign or anything saying if or when it would open. The view over the golf course was amazing. This location does require a car as it is about 4 miles to Kenmare, which is a fabulous town. The nearest bar Spillanes was also closed every time we drove past. There is a lovely rocky beach within a short drive. If you are blessed with good weather, there is a stunning beach (Paradise Found) about 45 minutes drive away. I really hope to return one day and I would recommend the cottage to others.

Small rope line in shade at back of house. No pegs and no airer. Cleaner asked owner if we could have an airer and was told to use line. Kerry is the wettest county in ireland. Not impressed.

The fixtures and fittings in the property are of a high standard and clean. The views around are breathtaking, it's in a good position for visiting many places of interest. Kenmare is a short drive away and other attractions within easy reach. Garnish Island and Dereen Garden are in a beautiful setting and well worth a visit. There are numerous ancient stone circles and buriel chambers nearby. The only minor issue was a lack of kitchen essentials, eg washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and kitchen roll which you would expect in an outstanding property. Also no welcome pack.
