This spacious holiday home is located just 0.5 miles from the beautiful Ballinskelligs Bay, on the Iveragh Peninsula. The property sleeps seven guests and has a sociable, open-plan layout that makes it ideal for family get-togethers and holidays with friends. Enjoy breathtaking beach days and coastal walks directly from the property, or journey 8 miles to Waterville to join the scenic Ring of Kerry cycling/driving route. This bustling village also offers a great range of cafes, pubs and restaurants.

The semi-detached dormer bungalow has a home-away-from-home vibe, with an array of comfortable furniture, charming accessories and pretty seascapes adorning the walls. The main living area is open plan with a cosy lounge area boasting a roaring open fire and a large dining table to seat everyone. The separate, contemporary kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering holiday. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility room and a tastefully decorated double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The remaining bedrooms and the family bathroom are upstairs. Outside, the fully enclosed garden has an area where children can play and a patio with a picnic bench for dining alfresco.

Ballinskelligs is a charming coastal community, steeped in history and legend, where you’ll hear the Irish language spoken regularly. The village has a handful of local shops and a friendly pub, as well as a vast, sandy beach. Spend a relaxing, summer’s afternoon here, sharing a picnic and splashing in the sea, or perhaps take a short walk along the beach to visit the atmospheric ruins of the castle and abbey. From the nearby fishing village of Portmagee (10 miles), you can board a boat to visit the wildlife-rich Skellig Islands.
