The Granary in Lismore offers a peaceful rural retreat with stunning views and a warm welcome from the host, Willie. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, the presence of farm animals, and the property's suitability for dogs. While some minor issues with facilities and comfort are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded for its tranquility and natural beauty.
Most guests found The Granary clean and well-kept, with only one report of cleanliness falling below expectations. This suggests that the property is generally maintained to a high standard.
The location is consistently praised for its beautiful views, peacefulness, and proximity to nature and local attractions. It's described as idyllic and perfect for a relaxing break.
Guests find the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable, but some have mentioned that the sofa and mattresses could be improved. The warmth from the fireplace adds to the comfort during colder months.
Facilities are generally good, with special mentions of the sunlounge and fireplace. However, there are several comments about the need for updates, particularly the shower and internet service, and some inaccuracies in the property description regarding TVs and games.
While the host is frequently mentioned for his helpfulness and warm welcome, there are no specific references to gifts or special thoughtful touches that could be guaranteed for future guests. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

Willie gave us a warm welcome and was happy to help if needed. The property met our needs as before. Convenient for visiting relatives. A beautiful view across the valley and River Bride. I'm sure we'll be back sometime.

The Granary is a lovely cottage and probably the best of the many that we have stayed on over the years. A super place to bring your dog with lots of space. Shopping in Tallow supermarkets 1.5 kms and Dungarvan is a love town to visit. Certainly a place for a repeat visit Pat and Dee Cleary
