Perched in the hills of north-western Crete, Villa Ulysses is a striking, architect-designed retreat with panoramic views over Loutraki Bay. One of a pair of contemporary residences, it features expansive windows, exposed stonework, and minimalist interiors that frame the scenery to dramatic effect.

The villa accommodates up to six guests across three stylish en-suite bedrooms. The master suite occupies the first floor and includes a king-size bed, television, and marble-clad shower room. Two further bedrooms are located on the lower ground floor, each with a king-size bed (one convertible to twins) and elegant en-suite bathrooms.

The open-plan ground floor offers a light-filled living and dining area, alongside a fully equipped kitchen. Glass doors open onto a sea-facing balcony with an alfresco dining space, ideal for sunset drinks or leisurely meals after a day by the private infinity pool.

Additional features include a home cinema room with a television, DVD player and games console, as well as a hot tub, barbecue, and landscaped garden filled with aromatic herbs.

Just one hundred and seventy metres away, a sandy beach with shallow waters, a café, and a local taverna offers relaxed seaside convenience, perfect for families or quiet coastal days.

Villa Ulysses holds a fabulous position with fantastic views overlooking Loutraki Bay. Loutraki is a small cove on the southern tip of the Akrotiri peninsula in Chania. You enjoy the best of both worlds, being close to the city, and yet feeling a million miles from any hustle and bustle. The villa holds an excellent position, in walking distance of sandy Loutraki beach and fantastic family-run tavernas. A wider range of shops, restaurants and amenities can be found within a 10-minute drive of the villa.

The villa is conveniently located less than a 15-minute drive from Chania International Airport, making for a quick and easy transfer. Chania itself is just a 25-minute drive away  and a must visit while you are on Crete. This city on the north-west coast is best known for its 14th-century Venetian harbour, narrow streets and waterfront restaurants. History and culture lovers can explore the 16th-century lighthouse, monastery or Archaeological Museum of Chania.
