About this property

If you are searching for the perfect home for a break on the French Riviera then look no further as Villa Oxygène is a house that has it all. With elegant interiors featuring an open-plan living space, 5 en-suite bedrooms and a gym as well as plenty of outdoor space and amazing sea views this is a truly fantastic home.

The villa is a new dwelling which is part of a luxurious estate built in a Californian style. As you enter the living space which is on the first-floor, you will notice the high-quality furnishings and contemporary décor. The vast room winds around from the living area to the dining room and then to the open concept kitchen. This floor is flooded with warm natural light due to the floor-to-ceiling windows which lead straight out to the terrace and the stunning pool. Every detail has been thought of so that you can enjoy a comfortable stay; from air conditioning to a grand piano if you would like to play after dinner.

There are 5 bedrooms available at Villa Oxygène which are all en-suite rooms with comfy king-sized beds. One of the rooms is located on the first floor, this is the master room which has a welcoming bath tub, the other lovely rooms are located on the ground floor. All of the bedrooms have neutral décor as the eye is immediately drawn to the dazzling sea outside of the windows.

There is lots of outdoor space at the villa which is split in to a few different zones. At the back of the house there is a garden with a lawn and fragrant planting, a perfect spot to unwind with a coffee and a good book. At the front of the house you can choose to sunbathe on the huge roof terrace or make use of the first floor terrace where you will discover the infinity pool which looks out over the Mediterranean Sea below.

If you can bring yourself to leave the house then the nearest beach is a mere 800m stroll away. This beach is called Plage de la Baie and it is one of countless gorgeous beaches dotted around this stretch of coastline. There are so many beaches here that you can visit a new one each day. Near to the beach there are also a few restaurants which are a handy option for dinner when you do not wish to cook or drive further out.

There are lots of villages and towns to visit for days filled with shopping or sightseeing when on holiday on the French Riviera and the closest village is Beaulieu-sur-Mer which is only 3km away. This village is tiny in comparison with many other Riviera locations but is full of charm. Beaulieu was once a favourite holiday destination for royals such as Queen Victoria and European aristocrats who have left their mark on the village as their delightful former palaces have been transformed in to hotels, shops and cafes which line the picture-postcard streets. A great way to see all of the hidden details of the village is by booking on to a guided tour, a fantastic one is called “in the footsteps of the Belle Époque” which takes in the remarkable architecture, the pretty harbour and the botanical gardens. If you want to do a bit of shopping while here, there are plenty of artisan shops and a brilliant market held every Saturday where you can buy authentic handicrafts and fresh produce. There are also lots of places to eat and drink, museums to explore and even a casino! For a small place there is certainly lots to see and do.

There are many more villages and towns that you can visit close to the villa, including the hilltop village of Èze which is 9.5km away, the independent principality of Monaco which is 8.5km away by car and the city of Nice which is 12km away.

This stunning villa is the ideal place to stay for a break exploring the coast, towns and villages of the French Riviera as everything is within easy reach.

If visiting the South of France, you are sure to be on the lookout for some fantastic beaches and at Villa Oxygène you will be spoiled for choice. The closest beach is just 800m away and is a quiet pebbled cove. In Beaulieu-sur-Mer 3km away you can also visit the Plage des Fourmis which is a sandy beach offering water sports and boat hire from the port. A number of the nearby beaches even have netted zones in the sea to protect from jellyfish so you can swim without worry.

The nearest shops and a selection of cafes and restaurants can also be found in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. This quaint village is a must-visit location which has staggering architecture, great shopping opportunities and historic buildings. If you visit in the evening there are some inviting seafood restaurants around the harbour and a popular casino.

Another great place to visit is Èze which is a medieval village clinging dramatically to the mountainside and is just 9.5km away from the villa. A good way to get here is by taking the bus from Beaulieu-sur-Mer as there is minimal parking in the village and also the bus ride offers amazing coastal views. Èze is full of charming details such as pastel-hued buildings, historic carvings, cobbled streets and winding staircases which create a lovely atmosphere as you wander around. The village is mostly pedestrianised so you are able to go at your own pace and visit inviting shops which sell locally made crafts and art works. There are also a number of cafes where you can stop for a coffee overlooking the beach. While in town make sure to visit the ruins of the 12th century castle which now contains a brilliant exotic garden.

It would be a shame to stay in this region and not pay a visit to Monaco which is an 8.5km drive away. Monaco is a small independent principality which is sandwiched in between France and Italy. The city-state is well-known for its Grand Prix, Casinos and Yachting events and when visiting you can find incredible spas, Michelin Star restaurants and designer stores everywhere you look. If you are looking to treat yourself to a day of luxury and pampering then Monaco is definitely the place to go. There is another side to Monaco however and you can learn more about the history and unique culture of the place by visiting the state apartments at the Prince’s Palace and by wandering around the old town. If you do decide to visit the Prince’s Palace you can purchase a dual ticket to also gain entry to Monaco’s Oceanographic Museum which is a much-loved attraction. This incredibly beautiful building hosts a museum and a vast aquarium with an indoor shark lagoon.
