We were upgraded to a stunning lodge! Had everything we needed and more.

Compared to the first lodge we stayed in earlier in the year (also a Comfort Lodge), this one was very tired and in need of an update. It was clean but there were a lot of spiders and webs in the nooks and crannies. A lot of the fixtures and fittings were broken (eg a blind which fell off the wall when we first tried to lower it, a drawer in the unit in the bedroom was broken, dishwasher door wouldn’t close, shower tray blocked due to a faulty part etc). We also struggled with the heating system which worked well when it was on but was extremely noisy at night so we hard to turn it off completely at night which meant the mornings were uncomfortably cold - this might not have been such a problem had we visited in the summer months. On the upside, this lodge was in a fabulous location for walks into the local countryside.

Single bed was a bit uncomfortable could feel the springs.Sofa was same to low & uncomfortable.
