Quietly tucked away on a private lane just half a mile from the pretty village of Flushing, Trevessa boasts some of the most impressive views of Falmouth harbour. The large sociable living room opens out on to a sunny terrace which soaks in the uninterrupted sea and harbour views. After a day exploring the beauty of South Cornwall, what better way to spend the evening than with a soak in the jacuzzi bath followed by a relaxing evening on the terrace watching the boats sail by. If you’re lucky, you might spot a wild deer or two grazing in the garden during the quieter months.

If you can tear yourself away from the view, the nearby riverside village of Flushing has a selection of small pubs, shops and cafes for you to visit. Continue along the coast to Mylor Yacht Harbour, a must see for boat enthusiasts. Here you can try your hand at sailing, or simply admire some of the yachts moored up on the harbour. For those looking for some retail therapy, take the Flushing ferry over to Falmouth where you’ll be spoilt for choice with an abundance of shops, as well as some highly rated restaurants offering superb seasonal dishes throughout the year.
