Linkinhorne is a small, pretty hamlet just a few miles out of the town of Callington, nestling in the Lynher valley below Bodmin Moor.  This part of Cornwall is an unspoilt, hidden rural area quite often missed off the tourist map.  This is a great location for exploring a wide region of Cornwall being central to both the south and north coastline.  Beach 20 miles.  Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 1. 5 miles away.
