Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the proximity to local amenities, and the thoughtful touches like wine and milk. While some minor issues were mentioned, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests consistently note the property as spotless and well-maintained, with only a single mention of dust behind furniture. The high standard of cleanliness contributes to the overall positive experience.

The location is frequently highlighted as ideal, with its proximity to local pubs, the harbour, and scenic walks. The peacefulness and views are particularly appreciated, although parking considerations are noted.

The property is described as cosy and comfortable, with a well-laid-out space and a romantic atmosphere. There is a single mention of an uncomfortable mattress, but overall, guests find the cottage to be a snug retreat.

Facilities are generally regarded as high-quality and well-equipped, with everything needed for a stay. Some guests experienced minor issues with appliances and a lack of certain amenities like dishwasher tablets, which slightly impacts the score.

While guests mention thoughtful gestures such as complimentary wine and milk, there is not enough consistent detail across reviews to guarantee such gifts for all stays. The thoughtfulness of the property is implied but not explicitly reviewed enough to score.

This endearing little cottage, has been creatively converted from an old joiners shop, in the charming seaside village of Staithes. Small but perfectly formed, it provides the perfect romantic retreat for couples wishing to explore this beautiful heritage coastline. Quietly tucked away, it has a bright and cheerful open plan living area, with a modern kitchen and comfortable seating, along with a state of the art electric feature fire, that crackles and creates a lovely ambiance to the property. The accommodation was clean and tidy, however, we were disappointed not to have a welcome pack, tea coffee and milk would have been appreciated. There was no information pack to hand to explain such things as how to work the heating system and cooker etc. The place was heated by a single radiator but even with it on full power the accommodation was on the cold side. Although we had a lovely break and enjoyed the accommodation it did leave us disappointed and feel its over priced for what it had to offer, so unfortunately on that basis we wouldn't stay there again, which is a shame as we love Staithes and will be returning, but will look to book an alternative accommodation.
