Indulge with a hot soak in the stunning, freestanding bath tub, tucked into one corner of the room, or head into the en-suite for a refreshing shower before heading to bed. You also have plenty of storage to stow away your belongings and a dressing table to get ready at each morning, as well as bedside tables and considered lighting. Sit out on a balmy afternoon in the enclosed garden and watch the world go by with a refreshing drink in hand, as a horse greets you at the fence from the stable opposite. Head into the cosy village of Austwick and enjoy a night off from the cooking for a change by paying a visit to the local pub, serving home-cooked food. Set off the beaten track, you have access to many rural corners hosting a wealth of walking and cycling trails enveloped by stunning landscape scenery. Other attractions in the area include Ingleborough Cave, close to the village of Clapham with guided tours, the well-known, circular Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, along with Malham Cove, Janet's Foss and Gordale Scar. A wonderful retreat for two in a fine region of North Yorkshire.

Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is the delightful village of Austwick, with a local pub as well as a shop and Post Office for visitors’ daily requirements. You are within reach of the market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Skipton and Kendal, while the Yorkshire Dales and Forest of Bowland beckon with plenty of walking and cycling routes.
