Guests frequently mention the cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. The local pub and scenic walks add to the charm. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, a few guests noted minor maintenance issues and occasional missing amenities. Overall, it is an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway, with many guests eager to return.

The majority of guests found the property spotless and well-kept, with only a few isolated comments about minor cleanliness issues such as dirty mats or BBQ. Most reviews highlight a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hut.

The location is frequently described as peaceful, secluded, and ideal for a relaxing escape. Guests appreciated the countryside setting and proximity to a welcoming local pub, though a few wished for more woodland nearby.

Guests consistently mention the hut's comfort, cosy atmosphere, and restful beds. The hot tub and tranquil environment contribute to a relaxing stay, with only minor suggestions for improvement such as the addition of a microwave.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the hot tub, fire pit, and well-equipped kitchen being highlights. Some guests noted minor maintenance issues (e.g., broken handles, blown bulbs, missing microwave), but these did not significantly detract from most stays.

Broken glassware, corkscrew and glass in picture frame, missing crockery, ( bowls and cup), Smoke alarm completely missing, first aid kit contents well out of date, - April 2023 or earlier. The steps up to the hut were lethal, there were protruding nails and ripped matting. The hot tub entry/exit handle was broken - no good for using to get in or out.A bulb in the bedroom was not working - only leaving one to illuminate the bedroom. The information booklet cover was very dirty and stained - it needed renewing. The mats in the main area and in the shower room were dirty and stained - they smelt dirty too. The idea of a shepherds hut is lovely, but it really needs some TLC. It is advertised as luxury- it most definitely wasn’t.The location is lovely, as was the hot tub. But overall we were very disappointed.

Went by myself for my birthday and absolutely loved it. The Hut was spotless and had everything you need. The hot tub was lovely and hot. Met the owner the once when I got there and he was very nice. Had a lovely walk down to the pub for Dinner which was very nice too.Definitely booking again for next year and would recommend to anyone wanting time away from the craziness of home life and work.
