Head to Blakeney for the traditional Norfolk pursuit of crabbing, or head a little further west and enjoy Wells-next-the-Sea, with its much-photographed quay, beautiful wide sandy beach featuring decorative beach huts, and a quaint mix of artisan and traditional seaside shops, cafés, and restaurants.
To the east lie the bustling seaside market towns of Sheringham and Cromer. Here you will find great beaches, museums, golf courses, a cinema, an indoor pool and leisure complex, and so much more. Sheringham Park offers over 1,000 acres of countryside to explore, and the Norfolk Broads are just 45 minutes away too. Of course, you must make time for a visit to the Thursford Collection, especially at Christmas, for The Thursford Christmas Spectacular and Santa’s Magical Journey.
Those visiting at Christmas time should visit Holt too, which is famous locally for its pretty festive lights. With so much to see and do year-round, you will be so glad you chose Hare’s Home for your holiday, not least of all when you head back after a busy day for a soak in that lovely hot tub. Beach 6½ miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 250 yards. The bus stop is located 100 yards from various locations.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The garden is very secure for the dogs to have a bit of freedom. Hares home was very clean and had everything we needed for self catering. The hot tub was lovely too. Plenty of places to visit in the area as it is very central and loads of places to eat out and about. I would highly recommend and hope to return.

This is our second time staying in hare's home and we loved it yet again. We was first there 2023 and the place was as amazing as it was 3 years prior. Place was lovely and clean upon arrival and lawn newly mowed. Dogs enjoyed the enclosed garden as much as we enjoyed bunny watching. Only thing I would probably of liked is maybe some loungers or more comfortable chairs to relax in the garden as weather was beautiful. However it didn't stop us enjoying the garden as it's a nice little sun trap. We are already looking at booking again for next year.

Everything' was good had a great break . Would definitely return .lovely home which was fully equipped. Lovely hot tub a bonus. The only things which we feel needs is a outside night light and a bed and mattress upgrade both .patio doors need locks upgrade as didn't feel secure enough. would not recommend Fakenham at night as didn't feel comfortable or safe .but would definitely recommend gt snoring social club for their live music on a Saturday night.
