The beds and sofa were very comfy. The floors seemed quite dirty however the rest of the lodge was very clean. I do have some constructive criticism in regard to the lodge itself. The lodge was a very good size with most of the amenities you would want/expect however I feel it could do with having a freezer, it has a fridge but no freezer and there's plenty of space in the living area to accommodate a freezer. I would also say it would be helpful to have some form of dressing table in the main bedroom, there was a long free standing mirror but to be able to see my head I needed to sit on the floor. Shelves inside the shower would also be helpful to store your washing toiletries. The hot tub was clean, a good temperature and worked well. The seating on the decking area was nice however the decking area itself could do with some adjustment, there was only one row of fence panelling around the outside of the decked area meaning that our dogs could not be let out onto the decking area unsupervised.I feel that this could also be a safety hazard for families with young children, a small child could easily fall between the gap. Another lower panel is needed all the way around.
