We were disappointed by this accommodationIt was spacious but very shabby. There were no instructions on how to use anything, despite our requests! There was a large log fire in the lounge but not sure whether it was available to us as there were no instructions, no kindling and was still full of ash from previous use.Recognising that our stay was Feb to March and that the property is single glazed throughout, heating was very important.Again no instructions, and no means of adjusting temperature. When adjusting settings to increase heating time the boiler went out. This happened twiceduring our stay we were then advised that changing settings always does that. Also , 2 mornings we had no heating. Some of the pots and pans were dirty. No cleaning products supplied. The main bedroom mattress was in dire need of replacement felt like lying on a sack of straw. We loved the location, and, with dogs, it was useful to have access to garden!Lighting inadequate , kitchen falling apart being replaced on our departure Laundry availability but in an unlit building dirty and cluttered so bring a torchLovely walks. All in all very uncomfortable and disappointing
