There’s a good-sized kitchen with everything you need for cooking meals and a spacious dining area next to French doors to the garden. There’s also a downstairs cloakroom and upstairs are the three bedrooms and a lovely, bright family bathroom: a pretty king-size room, a king (or twin), and a cute single, all have good storage for your holiday gear and gorgeous sea views. Heading outside, there’s a gated garden at the front and an enclosed rear garden where you can enjoy drinks and dinner al fresco and store your bikes in the shed.

Visit the nearby hotel and village pubs (from less than 500 metres away) for a drink or tasty meal. Ravenscar sits within the North York Moors, a beautiful wilderness waiting to be discovered on foot or by bike. Walk to Robin Hood’s Bay (3.5 miles) through beautiful coastal and moorland scenery on the Cleveland Way. Have a day out in Whitby (14 miles) pottering around the gothic streets and walking up the 199 Steps to the Abbey and go and discover the harbour and castle in Scarborough (10.5 miles).
