The owners have really gone the extra mile with super comfortable beds and good quality bedding in very large, airy rooms. Lovely big bathroom with large fluffy towels and an excellent shower and bath. The heating system was also very effective and the cottage was lovely and warm. Castleton is charming with a great choice of pubs with good food literally on your doorstep. The only thing I would have liked was more time there to enjoy it. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend. We were only a party of 2 but this cottage would easily accommodate 2 couples with plenty of space.

Kitchen was a dream to cook in. The sitting room was so cosy to chill in, in the evenings and the patio doors where great to look out of. The two bedrooms where spacious and had loads of room for clothes and things. The beds where very comfortable too and you felt like you had a very good nights sleep. The bathroom was huge with both a stand alone shower and bath. Every thing was cleaned to the highest standard in my eyes. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Peak District and go walking, or just to have a relaxing time and recharge their batteries.
