What our customers say about their holidays

Lovely apartment and well equipped. Beach location is brilliant and it’s just a short walk from the village centre. We had lovely meals at the Raipur Indian restaurant, The Castle pub, which were both within walking distance, plus a superb Thai meal at Eastbourne marina which was a few minutes drive. We took the train to Brighton which was a great day out. Bexhill and Pevensey Castle are also worth a visit. The website stated the bed is a super-king which could be made into twins on request. Unfortunately, this was not the case and it was twin beds without us requesting it. A little disappointing but comfortable nevertheless. Also be aware, there is no freezer. We assumed there would be and had to eat a lot of ice cream on the first night!! The welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was a thoughtful touch. Overall, highly recommended.

The lodge itself was lovely very spacious and very clean and in a perfect position.

There was a few things we were disappointed in for the money we paid no welcome pack well unless you call a cloth washing up liquid as a welcome gift we have stayed in places cheaper than this and always have got basic tea coffee milk as a welcome pack. The other most important thing for us was the beds they were so uncomfortable with plastic lined mattresses non fitted sheets and because of the metal base the bed moved constantly through the night and part of being away is a good nights sleep which we certainly didn’t get and also one pillow and no extras available overall a lovely lodge but a classed as a platinum the beds really need to be upgraded to proper bed bases

Wow what a lodge that was.

We wished we had it longer. We took my elderly mother in law who has to use a zimmer frame. It was lovely for her to be able to get about on her own with it in the open plan area. We gave her the on suite room, which meant me and my husband had the twin room. We both found that our bottom sheet would slip off because the mattress being a waterproof one. Maybe fitted sheets on them would be better. The only other suggestions would be a nest of tables or a couple of small tables between the sofas. Just with my mother in law we had to move the table nearer to her all the time for her to get her drink. Overall though it was beautiful and very clean and spacious.

Well maintained and good standard of cleaning.

A high quality and very spacious static caravan which was an excellent base for visiting family nearby and also hosting ourselves. On site facilities including swimming pool were a bonus and the adjacent beach was fantastic. To make things better I would suggest: A few more kitchen utensils as what was provided was pretty rudimentary: tea pot, beer glasses, kitchen knives that were not blunt etc. Recycling bins...no recycling facilities on site Electric car charging....the lack of destination charging made me use our petrol car. If I was to nit pick: high dusting could have been better but overall a very good standard of cleaning.

Lovely upstairs apartment with balcony overlooking the beach. Superbly kitted out with everything you need for a week away. Comfy beds, lovely hot shower and beautifully decorated and clean. A stone's throw from the beach with lovely areas to explore. We especially enjoyed visiting the Seven Sisters area with stunning views. Local chippy was good too! Highly recommend for a holiday relaxing at home or exploring the area.
