What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Christie - Verified booking

From the moment we booked our stay to the day we left Sue could not have been more helpful. We celebrated my son’s 18th birthday there and the cabin was decorated throughout with balloons and banners, it was just perfect! The cabin is so luxurious yet also has a real homely feel. The complimentary gift basket was such a special touch and contained lots of delicious treats, my daughter especially loved the after eight mints and the chocolate brioche. We had plenty of wood, kindling, coal and fire lighters provided for use of the sauna, bbq house and wood burning stove. Sitting by the log burner with the Christmas tree twinkling nearby was truly beautiful and cosy. We cannot wait to return and wish Sue and the Treetop family a magical Christmas. Thank you again

We all loved it here, particularly our cocker spaniel who thoroughly enjoyed exploring the space around the lodge & all the lovely walks in the vicinity.

The lodge is in a lovely peaceful location with Dalbeattie Forest on the doorstep, and just a short drive to other stunning places for walks on beaches and in the woods. The lodge itself was warm and very comfortable, and had everything that we needed for our stay. We particularly appreciated the little luxuries like the soft fluffy bath towels, robe & slippers. The towels & bed linen smelled lovely and fresh, and the beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was a huge bonus! We would absolutely recommend this lodge and would love to return here.

I've never been so excited to leave a review, agtwr spending a wonderful 3 nights at the cabin. Check in was simple and Sue arrived to help us with the hot tub, bbq hut and sauna. She was incredibly sweet and left us to our own devices. The property was thoroughly clean when we arrived, down to us noticing even under the beds had been hoovered. The facilities are modern and easy to use, all in excellent condition. It was the perfect retreat to a peaceful corner of the world, and we are keen to make the trip again.
