Everything about this property was spot on for us.
We try to get away with our dog every 3 months and book holiday homes all over UK. We have an anxious rescue dog, so deliberately choose detached properties in quiet areas so he can relax as well as us. He hardly barked all week and thoroughly enjoyed the enclosed garden. This time, there was plenty of room to invite our grown up kids and their partners too. We rarely find a property that is so spacious, has fantastic views, secure garden south facing garden, walking distance to the beach and excellent pub around the corner - thatâs served really good food daily. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, with plenty of crockery and cutlery for cooking at home as well. Sian, the homeowner provided us with excellent information and recommendations of where to visit a month before we left, which was really helpful. There is no local shop in the village, but we knew to be prepared and bring food essentials with us.

The house was just as described.
It's a large property, with plenty of space, even on rainy days. We were a family of 7, with 3 generations, including 3 teenagers and 2 dogs and all had a good time. There were far more useful items at the property than most we have stayed at e.g. plenty of plates, pots and pans for all kinds of meals, condiments, plenty of dishwasher tabs etc. There were lots of board games, the living room is lovely with lots of windows and light even on gloomy days. Communication with the owner was very good and she kindly decorated the house foe Christmas, so we had a very special family Christmas at the house. A bit far from a supermarket and not many activities nearby during winter months other than walking. We knew that and wanted that, so we're happy. I can highly recommend the house and the location, near beautiful Rhossili Bay, with lots of walks and a good pub on the doorstep.

We had a lovely stay at 1 Atlantic Haven.
The property was very clean, spacious and made a very comfortable base to explore the Gower peninsular. It had some thoughtful touches, games, maps, and books. We appreciated the very well equipped kitchen and large fridge freezer. We also appreciated the use of the washing machine and tumble dryer. My adult children loved how near to the pub it was. The footpath next to the house led us up to some lovely walks. The only thing I would change would be carpet in the bathroom, it however appeared spotless. One thing I wish I had realised was the rise up and down the drive. I managed to scrape the bottom of my car when I turned left onto the drive, so quickly learnt to turn around at the end of the close and drive on from the other direction. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Owner was waiting when we arrived.
Very pleasant. She informed us that there was a problem with Wi Fi and that next door had reported ants. Ant powder and ant traps had been spread outside the properties. Later we had ants too so nothing could be left in the kitchen area. Whoever checked the property for your company, it is definitely NOT suitable for 4 adults. In all the holiday cottages that we have stayed-in, why are there always so many odd glasses?. It is a good job that there were only 2 persons, as there were only 2 wine glasses, 2 small flutes, 1 tumbler, 1 small glass and several pint glasses? The cottage owners need to up their game given the prices they charge. On a positive note the owner did pop and check that we were OK? as the temperatures dropped and asked if wer need to heating turned on? Michael

The property outside is beautiful, however on the door stating, if only, under the bed there are cobwebs, cooker there was one part of the oven not working.
Fridge freezer draws broken and cut my finger. Fridge freezer hard to open, the surroundings of the property very noisy, and also there's a fixed council grounds maintenance. You hear them go passed every minute of the day, then we had someone knock on the door to cut the grass on the property. Not good when you know Friday we leave, so this could have been done then. Mirror broken in the shower room, this is not at all good as this could have also caused damage to us. This is mainly for a couple not 3 people, as the room upstairs very tiny and im not joking but the worst stay ever, I wanted to leave early but paying what we did to stay there I made the most of it. It was not worth the money at all, saying that there's a lovely Robin nest this was my highlight.
