"Belmont Cottage is a hidden gem. This was a last minute booking in August to visit family, and there were not many properties available. This property was fully booked except for the week we wanted so we opted to choose it, albeit it is in an area we were not too sure about. We are very glad we did. The cottage is very comfortable, containing everything required (including 2 excellent T.V.'s!) The garden here is such a bonus, a really lovely area to sit out and for the dog to explore. On street parking was not really a problem, we usually managed to park next to property, or nearby. I walked the dog in the local cemetery not far away. It is vast, dog friendly (on a lead) lots of paths, and and trees, and many interesting gravestones. Dog bin at entrance. The Minster promenade is also very attractive. Dogs welcome by the beach huts to swim and walk off lead - shale beach and footpath. We would definitely return."

"Property was larger and nicer than the pictures show. a good location. Plenty to do in the Kent area. Really good to get an Easter treat for the kids and to have biscuits and milk ready for our arrival. My one suggestion would be to lay off the 'property inspection'. Advised on arrival that there would be an 'inspection' on the last day. Night before we left, we were asked what time we were leaving so that the 'inspection' could be carried out. Then on deparature day the property was checked before we left.I would recommend the owner to take out property insurance or to leave an honesty envelope for broken items. (Inspection also mentioned in the property guide book)."

"Lovely holiday home, nicely furnished and colour coordinated. Had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was very helpful when there was a issue with WiFi on arrival, sorted quickly. Lovely welcome pack of tea/coffee , biscuits, milk and their own farm fruits. Only downside was there were quite a few spiders, one huge one so if you are an arachnophobe beware, was bitten by nasties also but this is a working fruit farm so expected. Lovely bird life to admire, including owls in barn. Overall a lovely stay , great for visiting local area, beaches and train to London for day trip."

"Absolutely amazing house to stay in we felt immediately comfortable and at home, the only things I can say could use very slight improvement would be the pillows were a little flat and dence and the parking space was a bit of a squeeze for our people carrier due to the hedging around it, the car did fit in the space perfectly but there was minimal space to enter or exit the car itself when parked other than those couple of small things a totally perfect stay and a very helpful and thoughtful owner with great communication throughout."

"The cottage was scrupulously clean, tidy and modern, and it had everything we could need. We loved having a garden for our toddler to play in. We could see the sea on a sunny day, which was wonderful, and the cottage is in a nice quiet area with farmland around it. Our only slight quibble was that the Isle of Sheppey itself didn't have that much to do, but we had a lovely day out in Whitstable and we found a beach near Shellness that was deserted and sandy, so good for sandcastles. The cottage itself was fantastic!"
