What our customers say about their holidays

What a fabulous house and right in the centre of beautiful Beer too. I believe it has just been done up by the new owner and they have done a beautiful job with great attention to detail. The house is really spacious with very comfortable beds and a lovely children's room with bunk beds, which were a big hit. There is also a balcony with seating where we enjoyed sundowners in the evening before wandering into the village to eat. There is lots to do in Beer and the house is only a 5 minute walk from the beach so it is a perfect spot for couples and families alike. We had a great meal at The Smuggler's Kitchen which I would really recommend and they do tapas at the wine bar which has a great atmosphere. There are also quite a few pubs in Beer and I would definitely recommend walking along the coast to the village pub in Branscombe. So happy we have found this place and we will definitely be returning.

The Belvedere is really well located, very close to the beach in Beer. You can sit in the huge bay window looking out at the sea, and watch the comings and goings along the main street. The apartment is very spacious and well appointed, with a comfortable King sized bed and comfortable sofas. There is access to the garden which slopes up steeply behind the property but offers great views over Beer and plenty of seating. There is a flight of internal stairs up to first floor apartment from a very small vestibule. There is a parking space, but it is down a narrow alley and requires skillful manoeuvring. After needing assistance to park at the property, we moved the car to the main car park which always has plenty of spaces out of season. It costs £25 for the week and the ticket covers all East Devon Council car parks (Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth, Seaton) making it good value.

We had an amazing long weekend in Admiral's View, to celebrate our friends birthday, it's a really fabulous place to stay and we all enjoyed it so much! It's a great property that has been recently renovated to a high standard and is well equipped with everything we needed. It's also perfectly located near to the shops and beach but in a quiet location just off the high street. Whilst staying at Admiral's View we visited a couple of restaurants, Smugglers Kitchen was really good and the Pig at Combe was amazing for a special treat, we'd highly recommend! We really enjoyed the Coastal walk from Beer to Branscombe and the Mason's Arms was a good spot for lunch. Admiral's View and Beer really does have so much to offer and it's a great place for a holiday; we'll absolutely be back really soon!

Just got back from a weeks holiday in Beer .

We stayed at apartment 1. Durham house . We walked into a warm and welcoming place. Spotlessly clean and everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay . Right in the heart of the village. The village shop and bus stop across the road . Other facilities, bars, restaurant's chip shop , and shops in a short walking distance. The beach is also nearby, it’s a pebble beach, lots of things to keep you busy. We took the coastal path to Seaton which is quite a hike but if mobile it’s a good walk. We also took the bus to Sidmouth and drove to Lime Regis . . We took our dog with us and everyone in Beer was dog friendly. Definitely worth a visit and stay in the comfort of your own apartment.

Excellent apartment for a Christmas break in Beer. Highly recommended. Bay window over looks the main street and had a view down to the harbour, a lovely size lounge, open fire, toasty heating, two good sized bedrooms and bathrooms Decorated for Christmas, which was a lovely touch Good selection of crockery and cutlery. If you like sharp kitchen knives take your own An excellent base for walking from, to Seaton, Branscome and just around Beer. We didn't move the car for 5 days! bliss :) Parking is to the rear of the property, is a bit tight but not impossible for a competent driver. Would recommend reversing off the road and into the allocated space We will hopefully be returning
