Great location- views are superb.
Apartment is bigger than we expected, though thought there was ensuite but just a tiny room for toilet. Clean enough, though feels it needs some love. Flickering light bulbs, definitely needs new mattresses and please just put a smart tv in so people can watch more than 4 channels! The entrance hall is dingy and quite often smelly with other tenants washing/wet shoes and quite yuck. Would be nice to have some staples in the house (milk, oil, sugar etc) as there was nothing but a bara brith and a couple of tea bags and we had to go straight out to buy things. The real issues for us (and we stayed 3 weeks) was the absolute lack of soundproofing for when people were staying in apartment underneath. Literally could hear every movement they made- snoring, talking, making cups of tea, noisy dog day and night, bathroom, use, you name it. Absolutely shocking and thereâs no way it could meet any building code. I contacted Sykes about this and they basically said too bad, call police if itâs noisy, but it was just every day noise and no escape at night either, just sleepless nights trying to escape the snoring. Horrible. No way we would have booked to put up with that. Also had an unfortunate incident with the owner letting herself in whilst my daughter and I were sitting on the couch. No knocking at the door first, No quick exit, but she stood in the lounge room and tried to have a conversation instead. She had our check out day wrong and was very passive aggressive saying that she is the owner repeatedly without making sincere apology. Everyone makes mistakes, and a proper sorry would have been ok (still not great!) but to make me feel like it was our fault for feeling uncomfortable was not ok and really upset us. Again, Sykes said get over it basically. Terrible, and wonât be coming back. Too bad, as it could be lovely, especially with some sound proofing!!

A nearly perfect stay but there are one or two observations: Really liked the chamfered wooden furniture.
The beds in the master bedroom and double bedroom were very comfortable Very useful to label all the remotes Where we think improvements could be made 1. The lighting in both bedrooms is poor particularly the bed side lamps. They are no use for reading. These lamps are for ambient lighting and not functional lighting. The lamp next to the bevel mirror in the master bedroom is also poor, difficult to see to put on make up. 2. There was no instructions in the guest pack regarding disposal of rubbish, bedding, how to use the tv the fridge freezer and telescope(didn't use it for fear of breaking it) 3. The TV is quite technical particularly if one is not used to a SKY TV and SKYQ box. There were no instructions on how to use it. I would have expected at least, to have a link to a website that takes you directly to a manual (not a general page) 4. Similarly with the heating system. Again no instructions As a minimum a website that takes you directly to a manual (not a general page) 3.There is not a thermostat/control in the master bedroom and access to the radiators is not possible so one cannot turn the heating up or down. 4. I think there needs to be few more easy chairs to enjoy the view - particularly in the tower areas - lounge and main bedroom. 5. Whilst the listing for the property stated there was no washing machine, I would have expected an iron and ironing board. 6. FYO - 2 bulbs need replacing in the chandelier above the first landing and the door bell does not ring. A lovely property is a lovely place to chill out and watch the changing light, the clouds and activity on the straits. We did enjoy out stay.

Property is an absolutely fantastic building in an unbelievable location but unfortunately let down by maintenance and administration issues.
We arrived to receive a message that there was a blockage in one of the en-suite bathrooms and it was out of commission. We were informed a plumber would attend either the first or second day to repair it; despite contacting the agents on a number of occasions no plumber appeared. Yes, a first world problem, one of three en-suites being out of order but resulted in one couple being forced to constantly use the downstairs loo. Not what we paid top dollar for. Also disappointing that there was no information guide left for guests. As a result of this we had no idea that the apartment had access to a separate, private garden. Imagine how we felt when returning home to be told about the garden facility by the people who had previously stayed, and recommended the property to us. Instead we didnât venture into the garden as it was occupied by children in the flat below playing football. The lack of information also meant that we had no idea how to use the various, impressive entertainment equipment to found in the apartment and as for the complicated Welsh recycling system, anyoneâs guess. A really impressive property which, if everything was working/explained will provide excellent accommodation, just donât expect the owner/letting agent to do anything to make your stay a pleasant or easy one. A real pity.

We had high hopes for a peaceful Monday to Friday break, but the apartment block turned out to be right next door to RAF Valley who apparently practice their manoeuvres Monday to friday.
All day. The 'high street' had no shops to browse, just one or two cafes. It seems to be more a place for families with small children and dogs..and there were lots of dogs. The accommodation itself was really nice...spotlessly clean and fully equipped. However the large sofa has seen better days and was very low and saggy to sit on...very uncomfortable for a couple in our early 70s, we struggled! This had been noted by several previous guests judging by the comments in a guest book there, as well as the broken toilet seat, but I'm guessing the owner is reluctant to replace the sofa because the apartment is mostly used by families with dogs & children. Why the broken toilet seat hasn't been addressed we don't know. Anglesey itself is lovely but our first visit has left us feeling a bit disappointed. We should have looked more deeply into where the town is situated re RAF Valley, and found out how many shops and pubs there are. Unless you're happy just sitting on the beach all day or walking dogs for miles, there wasn't much else to do. My daughter owns a dog and is always looking for accommodation that accepts dogs, but even she said they like to see a town with shops and pubs etc, and not just nothing! Some of the ads don't give the complete picture.

We recently stayed at your property and wanted to share some feedback regarding our experience.
Overall, we found the listing to be accurate, and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the efforts made to ensure these aspects. However, we did encounter a few issues during our stay: 1. Fire Alarm: On one morning, a fire alarm from another property rang in our accommodation, waking us up very early. Despite the issue not being with our property, we had no way to silence the alarm. It would be beneficial if there were a way to silence or manage alarms specific to our property once weâve determined there is no risk. 2. Hot Water: On the second day, we experienced a lack of hot water. Although this was eventually resolved by a plumber, it was inconvenient. The boiler was locked away, preventing us from diagnosing or fixing minor issues ourselves without outside help. 3. Broken Toilet Seat: The toilet seat in the master en-suite was broken, and it was obvious that it had been in this condition for quite some time. While this may seem minor, given the high cost of the property, such issues should be routinely addressed to ensure a comfortable stay for guests. Thank you for considering this feedback. We hope it helps improve the experience for future guests. Kind regards, James
