"Brilliant, what a gem. Christine, the owner, brings a very warm, friendly Yorkshire welcome to Suffolk. We went for a two night mini break, got there tired, and Christine cooked for us a huge three course meal, to save us going out again. What is not to like. The accomodation was great, airy, well stocked with more kitchen equipment than you could possibly need. It was very tastefully decorated, giving a homely , yet rustic feel. Six foot wide comfy bed ensured we both slept well. It wasn't cold to justify using the wood burner as the central heating was more than enough to keep the night chills away. Then you have to decide if you want to watch the huge tv with freeview and Netflix, or sit outside next to the well stocked firepit. Being away from any towns and light pollution, gave a clear night sky, with only toads at the garden pond, gently puncturing the silence in the distance. The WiFi is fine for reading emails. We had a very enjoyable break and will be returning next year. If I had to rate this out of five stars, I would give it a six."

"Firstly we must mention the welcome we received so friendly and genuine too. S83653 was so spacious and cosy, the log burning stove which we used in the evenings made it so cosy.Bedroom with super king-size bed was a joy, slept really well every night. The area surrounding S83653 was amazing, lots of space with many seating areas to enjoy lake and the grounds, most of all so tranquil and peaceful. The most important part of our stay was how lucky we were to meet Christine (the owner) what a wonderful lady. She cooked us a lovely two course meal one evening delivered for us to enjoy, even with card for my birthday, made the birthday evening really special. (Thank you)Very satisfying to have made such a good choice of holiday accomodation, which helped us to enjoy our week's holiday exploring Suffolk. Thank you again Christine, feel proud of your achievements and friendliness, hope to stay with you again, Norman&Pam"

"We had a fabulous week here. The cottage is on a farm and in a fairly remote location, but that's what we were looking for. There are 3 barns on the farm, S83653 is on the end, so feels really private. It was immaculately clean, really spacious, everything worked. It was a really comfortable place to stay and I'm sure we'll go back again. Christine, the owner, is lovely. She welcomed us, made sure we had everything we needed, was available for help if necessary but otherwise left us to enjoy the space. We used S83653 as a base for trips to Framlingham, Orford, Landguard Point and local walks. The pond is just a few metres from the property and is amazing - we spent ages watching dragonflies and damselflies. Lots of other wildlife (pheasants, rabbits, a heron etc) also appeared whilst we were sitting outside. Highly recommended - a great place for a rural retreat."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in S37653. Surprisingly spacious, quirky & comfortable. Lovely peaceful location with views across the Suffolk countryside. Kids moaned a bit about how small their bedroom was but they were just being picky and miserable, they only needed to sleep in it! Think it was more the fact they had to share (11yr old boy & 6yr old girl). We found the whole site fabulous. If you love unusual accommodation you’ll love Brockford sidings it’s such a clever and fantastically designed site. With free use of the owners under cover swimming pool, sauna & hot tub, a 5 min drive away. You book a 1 hour private use slot, pool was lovely and warm, kids loved it. Lots of lovely pubs locally, we especially liked the Railway Tavern at Mellis. Think you could probably walk to a pub if you wished but may be a couple of miles. Overall we loved!"

"S83653 is well equipped, set out beautifully and very clean. Christine the owner is lovely and had the heating on for us when we arrived, the place is really cosy. You don't really need the log burner but it was great to use it. Fab super size bed with good quality linen (electric blankets too!) We had 2 meals from Christine which were delicious and you won't go hungry with large portions, meals arrived wrapped ready to eat at time requested. It was nice and relaxing to eat at the cottage without cooking. Cottage is situated in middle of countryside and is absolutely silent at night. We had a good week touring around and walking, over to coast, up to The Broads and to several bird reserves. Smaller roads great for cycling as very quiet. We didn't want to leave!"
