What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Dolgarrog To Rent.
- Miss Poblete, August 2017 - verified booking
"A group of us stayed here and it is a lovely place to come back to after lots of hiking in the area. The lounge area is relaxing and there's a good size table to have dinner. The kitchen is extremely well equipped along with the rest of the cottage. Very modern. Enough parking for 2 cars in front of the house and a good size garden with a seating area. Ideal for Surf Snowdonia and to hike Mount Snowdon. There's a pub that is easy to walk to which has a decent menu and beer garden. Gary and his partner (the owners) are very welcoming and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again."

"The house is lovely, fantastic bathroom and kitchen - well equipped too. All new bedding and towels. Good sized back garden. The concrete steps down from the road are steep and uneven depths and the dogs next door barked continuously for 5+ hours until after 10pm one night. The owners are lovely, left treats and brew things for us and popped over to help with something but only after asking if it was ok, not intrusive at all. Because of the freezing weather the house was very good but if it was warm and we used the garden, the combination of the steps and that the garden isn't fully secured would make it hard to relax."
- Mr Riley, May 2018 - verified booking
"First the not-so-good things: it would have been nice to have been left with a 'Welcome Pack', including cleaning materials (washing up liquid, kitchen and bathroom cleansing equipment), there were none of these items (possibly the first time we have experienced this in 40+ years of self catering holidays!), there was no information on recycling/refuse and no spare refuse bags, it would also be useful to have operational information on the white goods. Now the good points: we found it very comfortable and reasonably well equipped, although table place mats and egg cups would have been useful!"
- Mr Hollingworth, July 2018 - verified booking
"Kitchen and lounge not acceptable. Pans not fit to use plates and knives and forks old and not good. Table had a cloth on it to cover up the paint stains. Had to take cloth off after a few days as it was stained. Grounds very overgrown and neglected. Dirty garage and sheds and a dirty caravan in the grounds. Problem with gate closing it until the lad put a chain across to shut it. We arrived early about 3pm the cleaner had not even started to clean our cottage and she spent only about 20 mins cleaning the whole of it which is not much time to clean a kitchen lounge bedroom and toilet."

"The house is beautiful & the location is beautiful, it just seemed to lack the little things that would have made self catering easier. Scissors, tea spoons, more plates, frying pan, another shelf in the oven, clothes airer, a broom. The house was freezing on arrival & took about 3 days to get to a good temperature - would have been lovely to have wood burners going on arrival. The house was also very dusty & could have done with a good clean before arrival. That all said, the owner/caretaker lived in a caravan on site so was at hand to help when the boiler went off."
