What our customers are saying about our Hot Tub Self Catering Holidays In South Wales.

"A lovely cottage and we had a nice holiday. We were disappointed that it was advertised as having a pub within a mile, which has obviously been closed for quite some time as it is all boarded up - the property details need to be updated on the website to reflect this. Also the property is advertised as having WiFi and there was no WiFi in the cottage - it was possible to stand outside (or hang out of the window) and connect to the main house WiFi, but it is incorrect to say the cottage has WiFi because this just isn’t the case. There is also little to no mobile reception, so WiFi really is essential!Otherwise, the cottage is very comfortable and the hot tub was a big bonus point."

"<strong>The property is down hill towards the valley.</strong> It is very peaceful and the outlook is lovely. We had our Son, Daughter in law and grandchildren. come part way through the holiday. They loved the animals and collecting fresh eggs from the chickens. If visitors want to see the Castles in the surrounding areas. Then go for a Cadw admissions Ticket, we took the 3 day one. The total cost was £27 for the two of us, we visited 5 Castles. It would have cost us a lot more if we hadn't been told about this ticket. I would like to say thank you, once again, to Best of Wales for their very efficient service and wonderful directions, how to get to the property"

"A very relaxed family break with our 2 sons (17 and 20) and dog. The games room at the property provides a nice option if raining or to break up the walking/culture for the younger participants!<br /> Recommendations: Caldicot Castle, Offa's Dyke walk (Devils Pulpit route and also other way from Tintern Old Station), Tintern, Usk. Tredegar Arms in Shirenewton - great pub/restaurant, we had two lovely meals there including lunch on Sunday."
Family from Chepstow - verified booking
"I rented it for my daughter and her husband (it was his first visit to Wales) who had come from Australia to stay. They thoroughly enjoyed some chill out time. They loved it. Beautiful location. Great hot tub and lovely owners. Many thanks :-) Chepstow has some lovely restaurants, Monmouth is a wonderful historical town as is Usk. Beautiful countryside, Raglan, Chepstow and Caldicot Castles. The well in Devauden is fab as are the walks."

"We had such a lovely, relaxing break at Wagon Cottage. Our children were slightly bothered when we arrived at the lack of Internet connection, however it was soon forgotten when they enjoyed the hot tub and use of the pool daily! The converted barn is just delightful and we enjoyed reading about it. Owners Bill and Lynn were very friendly and helpful. Could of easily stayed for another week. Highly recommended 😀"
