"The owners are very accommodating. Due to a logistical error, we arrived a few days late and the owners let us stay a few days more as the place had not been let.The property is very well equipped and even has a shed where you can put bikes, pushchair etc. The shed also houses the washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is well fitted with integrated appliances including a dishwasher. The rest of the property is very well presented.Comfort is a difficult one because everyone is different. I found the seating a little uncomfortable. My wife and daughter found the beds uncomfortable. The property is located very close to all amenities and ample parking is available. There is a chip shop nearby that can be a little smelly as you walk towards the property but it never seemed to enter the property and we had the windows open all the time as it was nearly 30 degrees. In all, I would recommend this property for a couple and would use it again, if I was staying in the area."

"Had a perfect week's escape to Wales in Honeysuckle Cottage Capel Bethesda. The location is lovely - set next to a small river around surrounded by trees and miles from anywhere. The cottage itself was very clean and comfortable and had a fully stocked kitchen including washing machine and detergent. The cottage has modern double-glazing so you will hear nothing at all when it's bed time. The walls are literally two-foot thick, too. In the morning, crack the window and lie in bed listening to the birds sing and the river babble. When we arrived there was homemade bread and shortbread along with two pints of milk and a box of farm eggs which made for an excellent breakfast the following day. I loved it and I'd recommend anyone looking to stay in the area to book this cottage."

"A really nice resort. Bungalow was spacious and it was lovely having indoor and outdoor pool ( and decent weather to enjoy the latter). Pools were lovely and warm too. Bungalow was well equipped with kitchen utensils etc ( even had a teapot and butter dish!) grounds were pleasant with a great view of the river valley from the woods. Downside: resort charged £15 for Wi-Fi which was useless. I don’t mind paying if it actually works but it kept dropping out all the time. It also feels tight when you’ve spent a grand on your holiday. Biggest moan was being charged for electricity. Again it was only about £15 but it seems very tight. Considering it’s a fairly upmarket resort it left a bad taste I thought."

"Myself, my partner (Thomas) and our dog (Sam the Hairy Lurcher) stayed at this wonderful cottage for three nights in late October (we were very lucky with the weather - it was sunny and glorious!) whilst Thomas was doing an ecology course at Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT). The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay (even an electric blanket which was an amazing treat after a long day hiking up Cadair Idris!). The area is beautiful and has lots of good walking in the local area. There are some lovely eateries and shops in nearby Machynlleth. Nora is an excellent host. Great check-in instructions. We hope to stay again soon. Thank you!"

"Decent location although no views, house lacked any personal touches compared to the many we have stayed in before, no books or games available, coffee table up against a wall in lounge useless and too heavy to move, CD Player did not work, key in patio door needs fixing as didn't always lock.Bedrooms and bathrooms nice and beds comfy, plenty of room in the house just lacking character. Cleanliness lacking especially in the kitchen had to move microwave to get something dropped behind there where crumbs and grease behind there, looks like been there a good while.Grill pan and frying pan full of grease had to scrub before using, unacceptable standard."
