Popular with mountain bikers, Llandegla Forest is home to some fantastic bike trails no matter what your experience, get your adrenaline fix and bring your mountain bike on holiday or rent a bike from Oneplanet Adventure who also offer courses in mountain biking too. Maybe take a trip to Park in the Past, a 130 acre local attraction just a 5 minute drive away where you can book carp fishing, open water swimming, kayak and paddle boarding. There is also the Clwydian Range to explore, home to the family friendly walks at Moel Famau Country Park as well as Loggerheads Country Park, with longer walks on the lesser-known Berwyn Way. Enjoy a wonderful day out at Erddig, run by the National Trust, this 18th century manor house rests within a 12,000-acre garden. Visit the riverside town of Llangollen, home to a Victorian Promenade and heritage steam railway, as well as fabulous boutique shops and restaurants.
