A delightful bistro set, overlooked by the clock tower, sits just outside the entrance to the cottage, a perfect little spot for soaking up the summer sunshine or unwinding amidst a spring breeze with a refreshing drink in hand. Take two steps down into the open lounge with a dining area, perfectly laid out to suit your comfort and meet your needs. This traditional feel inside is brought together by exposed beams on the ceiling, original glass window panes and a beautiful 400 year-old sandstone fireplace housing a delightful woodburner. Meander through to the kitchen which is well-appointed and boasts lovely views out of the lead, mullion-style windows across the beautiful lake. Climb up the half-spiral staircase, the exposed frame adding to the enchanting character, passing by a delightful feature window, to reach a set of king-size bedrooms. The uneven floors tell a story, whilst the silhouette pictures on the walls portray the identities of the ancestry of the estate. A very stylish, modern bathroom accompanies the bedrooms, boasting a grand stand-alone bath with a hand-held shower and a lovely, spacious interior. Enjoy a wonderful hot soak in the tub or a reinvigorating shower under the opulent rainfall shower head, easing you into your morning. Enjoy the charm of the market town of Nantwich and explore its historic buildings, its outdoor Brine Pool and the regular markets showcasing an assortment of local produce. The popular market town of Nantwich is located 5 miles to the south east of Crewe and stands on the banks of the River Weaver and the Shropshire Union Canal. It is famous for its outdoor Brine Pool which is one of the few remaining in the UK and heated throughout the summer. There are regular market days throughout the week and a monthly farmers' market showcasing the best of produce from the local area.
