Ty Newydd is a well-received cottage praised for its comfort, especially the beds, and its warm, inviting atmosphere. Guests appreciate the location for its proximity to beaches, scenic areas, and local amenities like a pub and shop. The games room is a highlight, adding to the enjoyment. Some minor maintenance issues are noted, but overall, the cottage offers a delightful stay.
The cottage generally maintains good cleanliness, with sparkling white bedding and comfortable living spaces. A few cobwebs were mentioned, indicating room for improvement, but this did not significantly detract from the overall experience.
The location is highly regarded, nestled in a beautiful town near the beach and within driving distance to Snowdonia. The convenience of a nearby train station and the accessibility to local towns like Barmouth and Aberdovey are appreciated.
Guests consistently praise the comfort of the cottage, highlighting the very comfortable beds and cosy living areas. The warm atmosphere in the evenings and the peaceful garden add to the overall comfort of the stay.
The cottage is well-equipped with a kitchen, games room, and good showers. However, suggestions for improvements include a larger freezer, a downstairs toilet, and updated books and games. The presence of a pub and shop in the village adds to the convenience.
While guests were amazed by the extras provided, there is not enough information to determine if these are consistent offerings or one-off gestures. Therefore, it should be noted that while such thoughtful touches may occur, they are not guaranteed.

A lovely cottage with the most comfortable beds we have ever had in a holiday cottage. Everything we needed for a weeks stay. We would reccomend this cottage to anyone. The train station is just a short walk, and the beach a bit further down the road. The local shop is handy, a couple of minutes away. The nearby pub does basic pub food. The Victorian Slipway at Towyn is excellent for Sunday lunch and just a short drive away .

The cottage is beautiful with so many original features. We caught the train into Barmouth one day, then spent the next day at the local beach which is just divine, we even saw dolphins. The village is gorgeous and it was so peaceful sitting in the garden. We also drove out to complete Snowdon, was quite far out but coming back to this cottage was perfect.
