The cottage is less than 0.5 miles from the local farm shop, where you can pick up delicious produce for your supper, and is also close to a friendly pub and a secluded, rocky beach. Nearby family attractions include the narrow-gauge Talyllyn Railway (9 miles) and the fascinating Corris Slate Mines (18.5 miles).

The spacious kitchen will inspire you to get creative, with everything you need to whip up hearty feasts for the group. Come together for sociable mealtimes around the table in the lounge/diner, before sinking into the inviting corner sofa to watch a movie on the Smart TV whilst the little ones are entertained by the play area in the bay window. There are some excellent walking routes to explore from Llwyngwril, through the woodlands and hills behind the village. Further afield, you can take on the dizzying heights of Cader Idris (16.5 miles), within Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), or the waterside trails along the Mawddach Estaury (15.5 miles) For a day at the seaside, head to the golden sands of Fairbourne (3 miles), where you can also hop on the passenger ferry to visit the bustling resort of Barmouth.
