About this property

Cwm Glas Bach is a wonderfully traditional stone holiday cottage nestled in an idyllic mountain setting at the lower end of the Llanberis Pass in Snowdonia. You’ll experience utterly breathtaking views of the mountains from every window. There’s a trickling stream only ten yards from the garden, which is lovely to sit and listen to. Hillwalkers and hikers will adore the location as you can slip on your boots and walk straight up the Cwm to Snowdon from the front door.

You enter into the kitchen and dining space. The kitchen has all you need - an electric cooker and hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, microwave, toaster. The table seating four is next to a fireplace with slate lintel housing electric coal-effect stove for a boost of warmth. Eat your breakfast taking in the mountain views through the windows.

Just off the kitchen in one direction is a step up to a shower room with corner shower cubicle, wash hand basin, loo and heated towel rail.

The utility area has the central heating boiler and the washing machine. It also has shelves and a clothes hanging rail, making it ideal as a drying and airing space.

The cosy sitting room is just off the kitchen through another doorway. This is the ideal place to come home to and relax after a day of exploring Snowdonia. Comfortable seating surrounds an exposed stone feature wall with a wood burning stove set in a large inglenook fireplace. There’s a TV with DVD player and a CD player.

Cwm Glas Bach has two bedrooms: One double room with a king sized bed and a twin room with 3' beds.

Outside the holiday cottage you’ll find a garden that’s left purposefully natural. It’s mostly enclosed by stone walls with open access to the mountains beyond and the pretty stream.

Cwm Glas Bach is the ideal holiday cottage for anyone wanting to walk or climb as Snowdon and the Glyder mountain range are right on your doorstep. This is also the perfect holiday cottage for families who want an action-packed break or to simply sit outside in the fresh Welsh air and enjoy an alfresco supper with the sound of the stream in the background. A happy, cosy holiday cottage awaits you at Cwm Glas Bach.

Ideally situated for the climbers and mountain lovers, Nant Peris is on the road between Llnabris and Capel Curig, peerfectly placed for Betws y Coed and Beddgelert too! Llanbeirs is a mecca for mountaineers and you will find them in one of the many good pubs and cafes around the town. If climbing is not your thing then take the train up to summit of Snowdon, the hightest peak in Wales.
