This wonderful detached cottage is situated on the outskirts of two North Wales villages, Talybont and Dyffryn Ardudwy, and enjoys a lovely southerly aspect to the front with distant sea views. Set over two floors, this property combines beautiful seaside living with a modern, stylish interior that will delight the whole family, a great getaway for friends, couples or a family who want to spend some quality time together, taking away some treasured memories. The ground floor has a well-appointed kitchen, providing everything you'll need throughout your stay, extending to a comfortable dining room, a light and bright sitting room, modern shower room and a lovely spacious garden room, providing additional living space and with a Chesterfield sofa bed, an extra two guests are easily accommodated. Upstairs, there is a second bathroom and two well-appointed bedrooms, a twin and a king-size bedroom boasting a sumptuous king-size bed and sea views. Outside, there is a rear patio off the garden room, which extends to lawned gardens and a second, slightly elevated patio with sea views, a barbecue and furniture, a perfect place for dining al-fresco. An external games room provides a fantastic place for the children and family to enjoy some quality time together, rising to the challenge with a few games of darts or pool! Situated between the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy and Talybont, there is plenty of choice with three pubs altogether, a cafe, a garage, shop, local butchers, Italian restaurant and also a Post Office for sending a post card. The cottage is a great base for exploring the area, walks are in abundance and there are some lovely beaches within walking distance. Barmouth is only four miles away, with its quaint shops, quayside restaurants and Blue Flag beach making a great day out for everyone. A visit to Harlech castle is a must, and Harlech’s magnificent sandy beach is amazing or if anyone fancies a game of golf the famous Royal St. David's Golf Club, is one of the finest links courses, while the whole of the Snowdonia National Park is just waiting to be explored. Porthmadog, and the world-famous Italianate village of Portmeirion are all within easy access. This lovely cottage provides a great base at any time of the year, whether you’re looking for a quiet ‘get away from it all’ holiday, seaside break or something a little more adventurous there is something for everyone.
Talybont is a coastal village in Gwynedd, Wales, surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park. Offering lovely pubs, restaurants and local shops, as well as sandy beaches, ideal for families. Local attractions include: Harlech Castle and the adventurous Zip World, with its long and exciting zip wires. Within driving distance, is the local towns of Barmouth and Harlech.
