Ty Capel is a beautiful cottage with sea views on the fringes of the seaside village of Dyffryn Ardudwy, on the West coast of the Snowdonia National Park. Formerly the home of the local minister, the cottage has been renovated to a high standard by its current owners and will suit couples, friends or a family. Deceptively spacious, this beautiful cottage provides everything you need and more for a wonderful holiday experience. The open-plan living accommodation has a light and bright interior with a sleek, modern kitchen with a breakfast bar which naturally separates the dining area and sitting area, with sofas and a Smart TV. As well as the underfloor heating, which ensures an ambient temperature is maintained throughout, there is a warming, wall-mounted electric fire, which can project a choice of five different types of 'fire' and even has the option of crackling sound effects. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms, each with a well-appointed en-suite with contemporary fittings and fixtures. The main bedroom boasts a king-size bed with sea views, while the second bedroom has a zip/link bed offering flexible sleeping arrangements. Outside, there’s a lovely raised decking area just off the kitchen. Patio furniture and a small BBQ allows guests to make the most of those sea views and has the benefit of being a real suntrap from lunchtime onwards. Dyffryn Ardudwy is a lovely sea side village half way between Harlech and Barmouth on the western edge of Snowdonia. The village has a butchers, post office and small grocery shop as well as a couple of cafés and two pubs serving food. The larger towns of Barmouth and Harlech offer a wider selection of shops and restaurants and are 10 minutes away by car. The area’s most obvious draw is the miles of clean sandy beaches nearby, but you can also take the opportunity to explore the rugged Rhinog mountains, accessible from the cottage. Snowdon itself is a 40-minute drive to the North and other activities within a short car journey include mountain biking at Coed Y Brenin, white water rafting at Tryweryn and pony trekking in Betws-y-Coed. The small village of Dyffryn Ardudwy sits between the Snowdonia Mountains and the beaches of the North Wales coastline. Within the village you will find local shops and pubs, in addition to an array of wildlife and birds, including soaring buzzards. Close by is the town of Harlech which is situated five miles away and the seaside resort of Barmouth where you can stroll along the Panorama Walk with breathtaking views.
