Dolgellau is a small market town situated in the heart of southern Snowdonia, between the imposing Cader Idris mountain range and the coast. Within the town you will find a selection of shops, five pubs and a wine bar, along with a number of excellent restaurants, cafés and two bakeries. The surrounding area offers opportunities for many outdoor pursuits and relaxing days on the sandy beaches at Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey.
