Guests say

Guests consistently praise Gwengraig cottage for its spaciousness, stunning views, and comfortable beds. The wood-fired hot tub and games room are popular features, while the welcome pack is appreciated. The property's rustic charm and privacy offer a peaceful retreat, with easy access to local walks and sights.

The property is frequently described as clean, with guests noting its tidy kitchen and comfortable beds. One mention of having to clear out fireplace ashes suggests a minor oversight, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.

The location is celebrated for its amazing views and proximity to walking routes, the Mach Loop, and local attractions. The secluded setting adds to the charm, although the access road's condition is noted.

Comfort is a highlight, with numerous mentions of cosy beds and a spacious house. The presence of log burners adds to the cosy atmosphere, although there is a comment about a draughty window.

Facilities like the games room and hot tub are well-received, but some maintenance issues are mentioned, such as lighting the fires, a leaky shower, and suggestions for better lighting outdoors. The hot tub requires effort to heat, which may not suit everyone.

While guests appreciate the welcome pack, there are not enough references to other thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed.

Very spacious inside with warm and rustic features with great amenities. The games room was a big hit as well as the hot tub. All bedrooms were great sizes and very comfortable. It truly was a wonderful property and very well maintained. To make it perfect I would add some sort of heater into the games room and to ensure the gate to the property fully opens as the moss/grass on the floor made it a little difficult to fully open to get all cars in and out with ease but these are honestly minor things. Would definitely recommend to family and friends for a lovely getaway.

Plenty woodlogs to use for extra £5 per bag which was Good bonus we didn't have to worry! we were very unlucky with the weather ( storm Bert ) so we just stayed in the house and we weren't disappointed! Game room fantastic unfortunately no heating there but we still managed to use it even though freezing weather. Plenty table games. Breath taking views with panoramic views of the mountains!
