It is ten miles to visit the scenic Mawddach Estuary or experience the sandy beaches and the dramatic coastline between Porthmadog and Barmouth (15 miles). Barmouth’s sand and shingle beach is perfect for bucket and spade days. The town of Dolgellau (7 miles) is at one of the Mawddach Trail from where you can begin a beautiful cycle trail along the estuary to Barmouth.
